24/7 Care at Home Hospice provides in home care for patients and families navigating the challenges of end of life care. Patient's are supported physically, emotionally and spiritually, wherever they call home. Volunteers are a vital part of our support team...bringing a special caring touch. Our care team meets with patients and family wherever they call their home, which can be a private home, nursing home or assisted living community.
We are looking for volunteers who interested in providing occasional visits for patients and caregivers. So if you have a flexible schedule and are interested in learning more, bring your questions and be ready to learn more about how you can be a blessing to others when they need it most. No experience is necessary and all training is provided.
Specially suited for adults (18+), Retiree's, Vietnamese, Mandarin and Spanish speaking volunteers are strongly encouraged to apply. Our next training class will be held in our Westminster office on Thursday, August 10th 10am-1pm.You must RSVP with the Volunteer Coordinator prior to the class. Mission Statement
To provide the highest individualized service that supports patients and families physically, emotionally and spiritually, emphasizing comfort and dignity, allowing patients to remain independent for as long as possible and in familiar surroundings. They offer bereaved and administrative support as well as music and pet therapy. We are always looking for licensed volunteers who want to provide personalized care such as hair styling and massage. Whatever your skill level, we would love to talk to you. Veterans strongly encouraged to apply, as well as bilingual Chinese, Korean Spanish and Vietnamese.
