Morven Museum & Garden

Morven's Horticulturists are offering an opportunity for volunteers, to earn and assist with

  • Garden maintenance
  • Landscape improvement
  • Planting redesigned historically-themed gardens.
In addition, learn and assist with
  • Organic vegetable cultivation in Morven's historic kitchen garden for donation to those in our community who are food insecure.
  • Enhancement of pollinator and butterfly habitat on Morven's grounds will also be covered.
Volunteer work will be supervised in small groups, outside, and on weekday mornings between 8:00 a.m. and noon, and may be on a selected weekday or days.

Ability to lift 30 lbs+, work in sun and summer heat, wield shovels and wheelbarrows is a plus.

Volunteers will also learn about the history of Morven Museum & Garden through tours and meetings with staff. Garden Volunteer Tour Leader opportunities are also available!
