Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta

Bring a dresser build to your home or office! All dressers built will be given directly to our clients.

About dresser builds:

Dressers an item that we struggle to source enough of for our clients, so thank you for considering this project! We can deliver the dressers and tools to you the business day before the build, you can build the dressers on your own schedule, and we'll pick up the dressers the business day after the event. Your delivery and pickup would happen between 8am-4pm and you'd receive a 3-hour timeframe the business day before. We can send postcards about the Furniture Bank and a client video to show so your office can see who they are helping. The dressers can be built on the floor or a table. All of the instructions come in the box.

Customizing your build:

Dresserbuilds require a donation to help the Furniture Bank cover the costs of materials. Each dresser costs $50 in materials. All items built are given directly to Furniture Bank clients. A group of X people will typically build X number of items in a 3 hour period. So if 30 people volunteer for 3 hours you can assume they will build 30 pieces.

So, if you have 10 people volunteer, you'll build around 10 pieces in 3 hours. At $50 per piece of furniture, the total donation would come to $500. If you'd like a shorter project, you can just build fewer dressers. We recommend breaking groups up into building teams of 4 people. Each dresser takes a team of 4 about ~45 minutes to build. We are happy to send any amount you'd like!

We just need about a one month heads up to get this set up.
