Whatever your passion you can put it to good use helping our neighbors in need! The ONLY way greeNest works is through the generous efforts of its volunteers. Whether for several hours here and there or on a regular basis, there is ALWAYS a need for your help!

We specifically need help with:

Mission Statement

TOGETHER WE CAN DO MORE We take the things that we all have been blessed with but can no longer put to good use and put them to good use! Those in our community who are transitioning into sustainable housing can use our stuff, donated and gently used, to set up homes of their own. We gather that stuff and organize it so that folks can come in and pick out the things they love. It is a win-win for everyone!

Description

greeNest is a resource for other non-profit agencies in Forsyth County that are working with individuals and families through case managed programs. Our Partner Agency Case Manager work to find affordable, safe and sustainable housing. Once they help them find their new home, they bring them to greeNest to shop to furnish their new home. At greeNest, we take in gently used donations of all types of home furnishings, our volunteers sort, clean and organize the donations. We then display them in our show room so our participants can have a meaningful shopping experience.
