Seeking a friend for Joe, a man in his 40s who lives in a group home in Brookline. Joe suffered from a brain tumor when he was younger and has a mild cognitive disability. Joe is quiet with those he has just met, but quickly warms up and is very social! He also loves to listen to music and enjoys reminiscing about his favorite songs from the late 70s and 80s! Joe is eager to get to know someone and make a new friend.

For just a couple of hours, once or twice a month and a year commitment, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Contact is currently virtual but will transition back to in-person meetings when safe and allowed. Match support provided by our amazing Clinical Match Specialists! Be a part of the JBBBS family and MAKE AN IMPACT on someone’s life.

JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH VOLUNTEERS WELCOME. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES REQUIRED.
