Project HOPE continues to respond amid the COVID-19 pandemic and we are looking for health professional volunteers to assist in our efforts across the country.
Chicago -
Project HOPE has partnered with the City of Chicago and Cook County to conduct assessments of Long Term Care Facilities around Infection Prevention Control. Following an initial assessment, Project HOPE volunteers continue to mentor and support the facility staff in IPC measures to ensure the spread of COVID-19 is reduced or prevented.
NEEDS: RNs or MD/DOs with LTC (Long Term Care), IPC, education experience
Navajo Nation -
Project HOPE has partnered with Chinle Hospital in Chinle, AZ to provide clinical support given the increase in COVID cases.
NEEDS: RNs with ER and ICU experience to support Chinle Hospital
Montgomery County, MD -
Project HOPE is partnering with Montgomery County to provide additional capacity in community based assessments and large scale testing for asymptomatic individuals. Volunteers will be working with county social workers and staff to allow for greater reach across the county.
NEEDS: RNs, EMTs, NPs or MD/DOs with IPC, education and/or public health experience
LOGISTICS
- Transportation, lodging and meals/per diem provided for all volunteers.
- Deployments are a minimum of 2 weeks; volunteers who are interested and available may volunteer for longer periods.
