The Kareem Jackson Foundation is hosting a Charity Golf Challenge at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado, on Wednesday, July 15. We need at least 10 volunteers to assist our staff with activities at designated holes on the golf course, swag bags and more. No prerequisite experience required. Just happy and energetic people who are interested in helping our foundation raise funds throughout the day by assisting with our contests and activities.
The official start of the outing is 8:00 a.m., but we will need all volunteers at the golf course no later than 7:00 a.m. to be briefed about the event, responsibilities, designated station/hole, schedule of events, etc. Guests will have tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m., with the last guests teeing off at 9:50 a.m. Guests will play 18 holes of golf at Arrowhead and also enjoy breakfast, lunch and drinks throughout the day.
After the final golfers are off the course, volunteers will assist the staff with packing up all supplies on the course and preparing the items for shipment, following the staff's guidance. Once all items are packed up, volunteers will be done for the day. We estimate begin done by 2:00 p.m.
During the event, volunteers will be asked to stand and/or walk for periods of time. We will provide food and an additional incentive for all volunteers who work the entire event.
Please send us a note if you are interested in volunteering for this event. Further details regarding the event, schedule for the day, attire, COVID-19 regulations, etc. will be shared with all confirmed volunteers. We look forward to working with you on this great event!

Mission Statement
Providing families with seriously and chronically ill children with daily encouragement and life changing experiences. Honoring and supporting women who are battling and those who have achieved victory over breast cancer.
Description
PROGRAMS Christmas in July This program provides critically ill pediatric cancer patients with an unexpected special day to lift spirits, give out gifts, and bring smiles to the faces of children. The inaugural program on July 11, 2018 was a success as Jackson visited with patients at Texas Children's Hospital. Each child received an autographed football, Nintendo Switch with "Mario Kart" video game, and a stuffed Build-A-Bear with an inspirational message from Kareem. He plans to partner with Houston-area hospitals each summer to make Christmas in July an annual program.
Pretty in Pink The foundation's first "Pretty in Pink Night: A Breast Cancer Dinner to Honor Your Fight" took place on October 8th, 2018 with plans for another program in 2019. The evening celebrated women who are currently battling or who have achieved victory over breast cancer, showering them with VIP treatment and an opportunity to meet Kareem and his mom, who is one of the key inspirations behind his foundation's mission. The women enjoyed themed cocktails, a gourmet dinner, and spa services courtesy of The Four Seasons Houston, received vouchers for free mammograms courtesy of The Rose, and had prosthesis bra fittings provided by Nordstroms.
