Position Summary
As a member of the Guest Services team, the receptionist is responsible for providing a warm welcome to visitors, directing guests and staff, and helping individuals connect with the right person or department.
Position Responsibilities
Welcome guests and staff in a pleasant and friendly manner
Help individuals know where to find the person/help they need
Pursue answers to questions for guests and staff
Respond to inquiries in an efficient and timely manner
Maintain security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges
Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Warm and personable conversationalist with the ability to build relationships
Comfortable meeting people
Takes initiative
Ability to multitask
Competent computer user with Google suite
A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth

JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief--and the vision--that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.
We are a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand. We do that by supporting Bible translation and language development partners globally, and by working with prayer and financial partners in the United States to help make a range of unique on-the-field solutions possible.
