Yours Humanly is seeking an innovative and dedicated volunteer graphic designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced visual storyteller who is capable of supporting our mission, brand, and messaging through creative and impactful imagery that blends form and function.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop overall layouts and production elements for print and digital collateral
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule with the highest degree of quality
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, deadlines, and budget restrictions
• Work with a wide range of media and industry standard graphic design software
• Collaborate with executive team and marketing communication director to help drive the organization's creative direction, develop brand guidelines, and establish best practices related to visual communications

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong graphic design and layout skills that demonstrate deep industry knowledge, acute vision for design, attention to detail, and exceptional artistic creativity
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Sketch, and industry standard desktop publishing design tools
• Time management skills, with keen attention to milestones and deadlines
• Oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, independently and in team settings
• Flexibility-willingness and ability to respond to changing circumstances and expectations readily
• Ability to handle rejection and constructive criticism

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or related arts field
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in graphic design; five (5) or more years a plus
• Compelling portfolio of original work demonstrating breadth and depth of creative projects
