determine max size at 300 dpi for a set of 12 - 20 photos

We have photos in a DropBox that are 1MG or higher for a publication.
But, we do not know to what dimensions they can be downsized and have 300 dpi.
We need volunteer to either with a software (i.e., Photoshop) or with formula (divide 2 elements by 300) to prepare a spreadsheet with name of the file and the maximum size for 300 dpi.
