Building a team of weekly DAYTIME volunteers to assist with packing and doorstep delivery of groceries to home bound residents.
Volunteers applying for this position should be comfortable with very physical work, working with a team, and comfort with the potential for changing circumstances and new logistical challenges that may come up each week.
- This work requires entering apartment buildings for doorstep delivery.
- This work requires physical lifting and loading of heavy grocery bags.
- This work requires walking outdoors in all weather, and going in and out of buildings, carrying items up steps.
- Some deliveries may also require using an elevator to reach doorsteps.
3 Different Arlington Locations, 3 different weekly delivery days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)

Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) is a private, nonprofit housing organization founded in 1989 dedicated to providing affordable rental homes in Arlington. We also provide educational, employment, financial and recreational programs for the adults and children living in APAH properties, as well as emergency rental assistance.
