Our Local Red Cross has a need for assistance with local disaster relief efforts, assistance with blood drives and also is seeking individuals with medical backgrounds to help with families experiencing crisis situations. There are opportunities for youth to get involved with blood drives as well as advocacy work related to the services provided by the Red Cross. Youth volunteer opportunities available. The mission of The Volunteer Center of Randolph County is to mobilize volunteers to address community needs and to strengthen the capacity of local organizations to involve volunteers effectively.
Description
The center is a comprehensive resource center for volunteers and programs that utilize the services of volunteers. The center will recruit and refer volunteers and help agencies effectively orient, train, retain, recognize and evaluate volunteers.
