Provide financial aide expertise to the mentors of the organization to help them better serve students.

Keep mentors aware of changes in federal and state laws and regulations.

Answer general questions about eligibility criteria, understanding award letters, and applying for FAFSA.

May participate as a committee member in our scholarship program.

Julia’s Learning Foundation’s mission is to empower high school and college students by providing comprehensive tools necessary to successfully maneuver through higher education to college graduation. Our goal is to provide underprivileged students individualized guidance that will bring more success and less financial burden.

Description

JLF provides students with an understanding and awareness of higher math and science, preparation for SAT and college entrance exams, financial aid assistance, life skills and career preparation. Through mentoring, advocacy, workshops, and financial assistance, Julia's Learning Foundation (JLF) empowers students ages 16 to 24 with the tools necessary to attain a college education.
