ORGANIZATION: SoLa I CAN Foundation

  • 40 people are interested

SoLa I Can is looking for passionate people who are interested in mentoring youth from South Los Angeles.

We match volunteers with youth who are facing challenges in their young lives. Mentors can help mentees improve academics, improve their behavioral and emotional health, and positively change the course of a youth's life by simply doing fun and interesting activities together.

Commitment:
Volunteer mentors are matched 1-to-1 with a youth, ages 8-17, according to interests, hobbies, and skills.
Our program includes either a 1 year or 6 month commitment to ensure youth develop a long-term, trusting relationship with their mentor.

Mentors will meet via zoom with their mentees at least once a month for about one hour.
