Retail Transport Volunteers Needed!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Seattle Area Feline Rescue

  • 11 people are interested

SAFe Rescue is looking for some go-getter volunteers who may be interested in assisting with transports of retail items! As community members stay safe and avoid public spaces, it can be harder to purchase pet supplies - and SAFe is stepping up to the challenge! Our retail store is still open for business and we are working towards creating online orders and deliveries. These deliveries will be within a small radius around the rescue. They will be no-contact deliveries and all time spent delivering will be logged as volunteering hours. If you’re interested in helping local cats and humans have safe access to the food and supplies they need, please reach out to volunteer@seattleareafelinerescue.org for more information! (100% of retail sales go to help the rescue kitties and fund their care.)

Requirements:

  • a SAFe volunteer account
  • A valid driver's license
  • Your own vehicle
  • A good driving record

Mission Statement

SAFe Rescue saves feline lives by taking in homeless cats, giving them the care they need, finding them loving homes, and supporting their human companions.

Description

Seattle Area Feline Rescue, located on the border of Seattle and Shoreline, at 14717 Aurora Ave. N, saves homeless cats and kittens and finds them loving homes. We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue connecting people in our community to their new furry family members. Visit our welcoming Adoption Center, featuring specially-designed and ventilated enclosures to keep the kitties happy and healthy. (You won’t even know there are any litter boxes in the building!) Here, you can fall in love in one of our adoption rooms and take home your new best friend.

Seattle Area Feline Rescue relies on the support and dedication of volunteers in order to save the lives of cats and kittens. We simply couldn’t do the work we do without the support of every cat rescue volunteer!
