Morning Services Volunteer
The Samaritan Center
The purpose of the Morning Services Volunteer is to assist with our daily morning services for our homeless clients.
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Be courteous and kind to our clients.
- Able to stand and go back & forth for long periods of time preferred.
- Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, patient and have problem solving abilities.
Position Description:
The Morning Services Volunteer will help set up and provide morning services to our clients. This will include preparing & distributing client coffee, giving out breakfast and sack lunches to-go.
The volunteer will keep track of which clients they are distributing to on a sign-in sheet as well as work with staff when clients need additional assistance.
Support:
Training will be provided. Gloves and masks will be provided.
