Bridges Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking volunteers to assist in caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Working from home, the Telephone Outreach Volunteer will call patients to ensure their care and supply needs continue to be met. Secondly, the volunteer will provide encouragement and emotional support as needed.
This assignment is important during the covid pandemic as physical visits to patients have been limited. Telephone calls will help in reducing isolation of patients and caregiver. Outgoing individuals with customer service experience will be successful in this role.
