During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Through this Pandemic, St. Francis Seraph Ministries is continuing to serve the Urban Poor with our "Meals to Go" model. Volunteers will help package hot meals, distribute, and cleanup. To Volunteer, you must be 65 or younger, have no health issues, and sign a disclosure with temperature taken upon arrival. We are going to continue to follow shelter-in-place rules for the time-being.
A friendly encounter can really help brighten our guests’ days - and as a volunteer, you might be surprised at how much this experience will brighten yours as well!

Building upon the historic Roman Catholic and Franciscan presence in Cincinnati, St. Francis Seraph Ministries works to nourish and nurture the body, mind and spirit of Over-the-Rhine’s most needy, so the neighborhood will realize its full potential as a thriving and livable place where all residents enjoy the benefits of good health, wealth and well-being.
St Francis Seraph Ministries serves OTR residents experiencing barriers to full life. Our ministries include a Soup Kitchen which provides Breakfast and Dinner 5 day/week; the Sarah Center providing classes in empowerment through arts and other creative endeavors for women; Cooking for the Family, (meal planning and preparation classes, encouraging families to make healthy choices and share mealtime); and Bag Lunch ministry (lunches for day laborers).
We'll work with your schedule.
