UnshelteredTV is a U.S.-based program aimed at improving the quality and reach of information shared with those experiencing homelessness. We empower aid organizations with the equipment and know-how to create short, powerful videos that can easily be shown in homeless encampments. Using trusted and respected outreach personnel as the on-screen talent, organizations can create videos that are relatable and relevant. Video topics can include current COVID-19 prevention messages, like social distancing and handwashing, to more ongoing concerns like nutrition and housing options.
UnshelteredTV is an initiative of illuminAid , a registered nonprofit empowering international aid organizations to use video as part of their communication strategies to reach poverty-stricken communities around the world.
