Looking for a Tagalog-speaking volunteer only.
Virtual Companion Volunteers conduct weekly online visits with individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. These visits will be done on a virtual platform, such as Zoom, FaceTime, etc. Volunteers will provide companionship for and socialization with the individuals (and often their care partners) to help reduce their feelings of loneliness and isolation and to engage them in stimulating activites, such as conversing, playing online games, and going on virtual trips to the zoo. If possible, the visits should also provide a form of respite for the care partner.
