Who we are:

The CARDBoard Project is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose main objective is to bridge the digital gap within the underserved communities in the DFW area. Technology is an essential to all means of living, for many this essential is grossly limited. These limitations actively hinder education, healthcare, and overall economic growth. Here we address this pertinent issue on many levels. Between providing physical access to essential technology, active projects working to eradicate "digital deserts" working with individuals one on one to connect guests to empowering opportunities and resources, we consistently progress our cause.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a virtual volunteer to create an email campaign and/or monthlynewsletter via Mailchimpto be sent to our current partners, donorsand volunteers. The content will highlight our current community actions, local relevant statistics, volunteer opportunities, and above all be inspiring.

Responsibilities

  • Create a monthly newsletter via Mailchimp
  • Create email marketing campaigns
  • Embrace our organization's branding and culture
  • Content curation

Requirements:

  • Mailchimp platform experience:
    • Mailchimp sign up or Newsletter form.
    • Mailchimp list and campaign setup.
    • Mailchimp Newsletter design / responsive.
    • Mailchimp sign up or Newsletter form.
    • Mailchimp list and campaign setup.
    • Mailchimp Newsletter design / responsive.
  • Proficient writing skills.
  • Creative, artistic ability
  • Access to a computer with camera and reliable internet
  • Able to video conference a minimum once per week

Impact:

Newsletters and email campaigns keeps our community partners and donors updated with our impact. These communications also allows our guests and partners to stay informed on important local and volunteer opportunities.
