The Humane Society of Bay County is in need of a Volunteer Coordinator.

Our organization is comprised of a Board of Directors, and six Committee Chairs. The Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Operations Committee Chair.

As a nonprofit, we depend entirely on volunteers for everything from animal programs, education and fundraising. A volunteer coordinator is needed to recruit and manage our expanding volunteer base.

This opportunity is best for someone with previous experience in human resources. This program is in need of someone to take over and run with it. The best candidate for this opportunity is someone who is self-motivated, outgoing, creative, and able to make this program their own.

The candidate will review host volunteer recruitment events at existing events, review volunteer applications, contact new volunteers, maintain a database of volunteer information as well as be a contact for volunteers as needed.
