The Humane Society of Bay County is in need of a Fundraising Committee Chair. Our organization is comprised of a Board of Directors, and six Committee Chairs. As a team, the Committee Chairs meet regularly to be sure the organization is moving forward.
As a nonprofit, we depend entirely on donations from the community and grants. Fundraising is the most important work that is done.
This opportunity is best for someone with previous experience in fundraising. The candidate should be outgoing, creative, organized, and a self-starter.
The candidate will oversee several teams including Major Events, Grants, Minor Events, Membership, Donation Banks, Sales in our Store. Being able to recruit new members to the fundraising team is a plus.
This committee meets once a month, (sometimes more if needed). The candidate must provide guidance to the team.
HSBC prides itself on providing care for the animals of Bay County and help is desperately needed to continue to do.

Description
The Humane Society of Bay County is a volunteer organization. Monthly board meetings are open to the public and held on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at 1607 Marquette Ave.
The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as an animal advocate in our community. Your support continues to be our inspiration as we look forward to a future of improved welfare for all animals.
