The Folk School of Fairbanks is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that offers year round classes and programs in a wide variety of hands-on disciplines. Our mission is to perpetuate the joy of hands-on learning. You can learn more about us at https://folk.school
The Folk School in Fairbanks is looking for volunteer hosts to open our cabin and small store to visitors during the summer season.
Duties will include:
- Staffing the store in our log cabin at Pioneer Park, selling locally made crafts, and greeting visitors
- Preparing the cabin for upcoming classes
- Are you an artisan? We love to have folks in the cabin, demonstrating their craft.
