Mission Statement

Our mission is to rescue abandoned pets from high kill shelters in under-served communities across the world and find them adoptive homes in the Northwest.

Description

Street Savvy Dog Rescue is an all breed, no kill, foster based rescue focused on providing rehabilitation and rehoming for pets.

Barbette started the foster about 6 years ago it has been growing enormously through our foster volunteers.
We have placed about 600 dogs last year and are on our way to increase the number this year.

We spay and neuter all adult dogs and most of the puppies that we place in forever homes.

We support our Partners in under-served communities with medical equipment, test kits, vaccines, so that they can send healthy animals to us and adopt out healthy animals there.

We need people for data entry, adoption follow up calls, spay and neuter setups and virtual fundraisers.

We particularly are looking for a coach for grant writing who is willing to train others in this art.

We also are looking for photographers in the different area of the Portland Metro area to cover all areas without driving long distances.

We are also looking for Website developers/designers for our Website.
