American Red Cross of Northern California Coastal Region

ARC Logo

Join us for a 4-day virtual youth development conference, Monday, June 21 - Thursday June 24, 2021, with the American Red Cross Northern California Coastal Region. This year's Leadership Development Center has been modified to still provide opportunities for youth ages 13-18 to develop and cultivate core leadership skills such as teamwork, public speaking and diversity awareness, all while adapting to current social distancing practices.

Through virtual presentations and small group discussions, LDC delegates will participate in workshops on Red Cross topics including disaster preparedness, diversity, international services and more. We hope to build an understanding of our communities while we are a part of camp and to help participants become young leaders.

The cost of camp has been adjusted to $25.00 to receive your packet in the mail. Scholarships are still available.

What you will need for camp this year:

  • Access to a computer with Wi-Fi
  • Optimistic attitude and eagerness to learn more about the Red Cross

If you are entering grades 9-12 and interested in learning new skills and meeting Red Cross youth, apply today!

Apply by April 15, 2021 to receive your packet with camp resources.

Register today here: https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=vms_load_form&form_id=9036&return_nd=vms_form_list or email youthnccr@redcross.org with any questions!

Mission Statement

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether its one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you.
