Although the COVID crisis has temporarily suspended the opportunity to have face to face visits with patients, there are opportunities to support them through phone calls, letter writing, errand running and minor, non-contact household chores and delivery of supplies. We are also able to complete the on-boarding process so volunteers can hit the ground running once our hospice patients are able to have visitors.

Our on-boarding includes background check, TB test and a training course which can be completed at home.

Our patients have been hit particularly hard during this pandemic as it has caused them to be even further isolated at a time when they need the most support.
