In the wake of COVID-19, the farmers market has been not immune to the changes we have all felt in our lives. The main priority of the VFM is to promote health and safety during COVID-19. To make this happen, we have developed new guidelines for staff, customers, vendors, and volunteers. Now more than ever, we need your help to make our market a safe community space for all to enjoy.
The positions we are most in need of at this time are Customer Counter and Information Booth Manager.
1# Information Booth Manager-
Saturday- Morning 8:45am-12:15pm and Afternoon 12:00pm-3:00pm
Sunday- Morning 9:45am-12:40pm and Afternoon 12:30pm-3:00pm
Responsibilities: - Answering questions from customers.
- Assist in setting up or tear down of Information Booth space. - Inform customers of new guidelines for shopping at the market.
- Assist customers with the purchase of EBT tokens. (Currently, we are only selling EBT tokens at this station. We will not be collecting rent or selling other tokens.)
- Assist with Line Management when customers are not purchasing EBT.
2# Customer Counter
Saturday- Morning 8:45am-12:15pm and Afternoon 12:15pm-3:00pm
Sunday- Morning 9:30am-12:40 and Afternoon 12:40pm-3:00pm
-Monitoring the number of customers entering or exiting the market with a specialized counting app.
- Reminding customers to use the correct entrance or exit at the market.
- Inform customers of new guidelines while shopping at the market.

The Vancouver Farmers Market is a pet friendly place where you can chat with people who have grown or created your purchase, grab a bite to eat, listen to music, stroll through the park, watch the kids play, and enjoy a wonderful, relaxing day. Since 1990, The Vancouver Farmers Market has been a mainstay of the community, supplying locally produced foods and goods and connecting people with farms and small businesses.
