Are you available one hour a week to provide support to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care patients by reading to them, playing their favorite music, exploring their past through conversation or viewing scrapbooks, working puzzles with them, doing a craft activity, playing their favorite game, or sharing a cup of coffee in their home? As a volunteer, you and the patient can create an experience that is unique to their interests and needs. We are looking for calm, levelheaded people who can provide support to our patients. You are not allowed to provide any patient cares. Your role is that of a supportive presence, willing to engage and make each visit with that patient special through your interactions. Interested? Perhaps you have a friend who may want to share in this special opportunity to encourage people in their community. Contact us at volunteer.kc@crossroadshospice.com. For more information about Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care, check our website: Crossroadshospice.com and/or our Facebook page: facebook.com\crossroadshospice.

Mission Statement
Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.
Description
Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a question we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers, and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead, and raise the bar. In fact "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agree.
