ORGANIZATION: Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care

Crossroads Hospice

If you enjoy creating and hosting parties, organizing resources, have we got a volunteer job for you. Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care offers each patient an opportunity to have a celebratory event with friends and family. These events require a lot of planning by the Gift of the Day Coordinator and then multiple hands to carry them out for our patients. If you have four hours a week you would like to invest in these opportunities, we could certainly use your assistance. Is your schedule flexible? Would you be available some evenings and/or weekends? Physically able to bend, lift, carry, and set up and clean up? Are you a good photographer? You will have plenty of photo opportunities at these events. Interested? Contact us at volunteer.kc@crossroadshospice.com. For more information about Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care, check our website: Crossroadshospice.com and/or our Facebook page: facebook.com\crossroadshospice.

Mission Statement

Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.

Description

Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a question we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers, and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead, and raise the bar. In fact "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agree.
