We are proud to serve our veterans. There is no better way to serve than to have a veteran come alongside a veteran during this time of life. Veterans have an understanding that others that have never served do not have. Our veteran volunteers build relationships with our veteran patients by spending time with them and helping us honor them.

At Missouri Delta Hospice, we are more than an organization of hospice professionals - we are proud members of communities across southeast Missouri. Compassionate, quality service is our mission. And to us, service means getting to know our patients on a personal level.
Description
We have been in the Poplar Bluff, Dexter, and Sikeston communities since 2010. Our goals are to know the people we serve, understand their needs, and tailor their healthcare to ensure the best journey at the end of life as possible. Our volunteers come alongside our patients and families and serve them in a variety of ways. Companionship, helping with household duties, running errands, or helping out in the office in Sikeston, Missouri. Our organization is apart of the We Honor Veterans program. This is exactly our goal. To honor veterans through acknowledging their sacrifice, veteran to veteran companionship, and helping the veteran to die with dignity.
