24/7 Care at Home Hospice sends teams of medical professionals into the home to provide care for individuals who have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness. We do not have patients at our "facility", rather our office is where we coordinate services. The care teams, including volunteers, visit with patients wherever they call home, so that they no longer have to transport to their doctor or hospital for treatment. With proper safety measures, patients can be happy spending their final days at "home" surrounded by friends and family.

A positive attitude and good verbal communication is required as is a valid drivers license and auto insurance.
You will need to complete a hospice volunteer training program and you must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and TB test (both at no cost). Must be 18 or older. Mature individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. All protective equipment (i.e. masks, sanitizer etc.) will be provided. Mileage is reimbursed.

They offer bereaved and administrative support as well as music and pet therapy. We are always looking for licensed volunteers who want to provide personalized care such as hair styling and massage. Whatever your skill level, we would love to talk to you. Veterans strongly encouraged to apply, as well as bilingual Chinese, Korean Spanish and Vietnamese.
