ORGANIZATION: Springwell

Meal delivery - We are looking to recruit Natick residents who can devote a few hours once a week to delivering Meals on Wheels in Natick, MA.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday, typically 10:30-12:00 noon. We have openings on several of these days, and expect to have other openings in the near future.

CDC recommendations about social distancing have been integrated into our delivery practices, and volunteers must commit to wearing a mask during meal delivery regardless of their vaccination status.

Please contact us to learn more about these opportunities to connect with seniors in Natick. Mileage reimbursement is available for meal delivery. Must be 21 or older to volunteer as a driver but children and teens are welcome to volunteer alongside a responsible adult. Vehicle, insurance, clean driving record and criminal background check required. Thanks!

Description

Springwell, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is part of a statewide network of Aging Services Access Points and nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging that coordinate care services to enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families. Services include homemaking, personal care, grocery shopping, home delivered meals, transportation, and more. Volunteers provide vital help delivering meals, doing grocery shopping, visiting with isolated older adults, helping with budgeting and monthly bills, and advocating for those living in nursing homes.
