Description
Serena Millet created this non-profit after her life long struggle with mental illness. She knew that there are many people out there struggling with mental illness and substance abuse, and many of them are unable to afford the help they need. She created Insane Ability to give those people an opportunity to get the help they need and improve their lives.
We offer Mental health coaching and substance abuse coaching sessions. Our coaches are Certified peer support specialists that have experienced mental illness, or substance abuse and chosen to get certified to help others make it through their difficulties.
We hold free support group sessions for anyone struggling with Substance abuse, Mental illness, or grief
We just started a program to help teens ages 13-18 to learn how to volunteer and give back to their community
We hold yearly service projects at in patient mental health facilities.
We want to create a free mentorship program for teens so they can learn how to properly care for their mental health and have successful lives.
We also want to work toward doing a homeless outreach program.
