Ruth's Table is an arts nonprofit dedicated to building a more connected community through the power of creativity and intergenerational relationships, with elders at the core.

We are working with low-income senior living communities to offer art supplies kits, creative projects, and phone-based connections to encourage our most vulnerable communities to stay connected and engaged during this deeply isolating time.

Volunteers:
Each volunteer will be paired with an adult 60 years or older to offer personal connection and encouragement, share stories, learn, and more.

No previous creative experience is needed: only an open mind and open ears.
Volunteers will receive training and ongoing support.

Time Commitment: The goal is to form a relationship between a volunteer and participant. We ask for a minimum commitment of one call per week for 2-3 months.

Qualifications: A free background check; availability for a remote volunteer training (flexible times, about 1 hour long).

Volunteers fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Russian are encouraged to apply.
