We are a non-profit social enterprise with a mission to: Drive socio-economic development through technology in Côte d’Ivoire and the region by
fostering opportunities for startups, talents, and innovation. We are excited to offer our Adei Educate for Tech entrepreneurs 2020: a 3-week workshop series online in Cote d’Ivoire.
Beyond skills development, this is an opportunity to connect with the local entrepreneurial Ecosystem and gain exposure to the entrepreneurs’ experience in this frontier market. Your Knowledge and skills can be invaluable to the entrepreneurs in Côte d’Ivoire.
Program Details:
Product Development
A product is worth 1000 meetings but can also be an expensive endeavor. Product
development moves in phases from concept to market launch and repeats itself as new features are added. Seeking an individual with expertise using lean methodologies, agile process and road mapping.
Finance & Accounting
A strong financial infrastructure is critical for any company, new or established. For an early stage company, it’s important to implement good practices early to maintain sustainable growth, managed spending and avoiding fines or tax issues later in the life cycle of the company. Seeking an individual with strong command of basics as they apply future growth.
Business Development & Strategy
Business development is what enables a startup to grow. It’s especially important for startup founders/leaders to understand how to create growth opportunities and target, acquire and retain customers. Seeking an individual with experience in strategy, relationship building, negotiations and converting and growing clientele.
Marketing & Branding
Seeking an individual with expertise developing brand strategy and appropriating marketing dollars to reinforce the brand of the company. Considering the company mission, vision, products and/or services and the message you want to deliver to the customer.
Adei Institute of Technology and partners will provide guidance to support the Subject matter experts in developing the content for the workshops and deliver the presentation. The Mentors / Subject matter experts will assist with hands on exercises and answer questions through the slack channels.
Adei Institute of Technology Project’s Coordinator will provide any assistance needed and make sure the experience is Exceptional!
Expectations:
- 3-6 Weeks commitment with min of 4 hours per week.
- Expert in their field with over 5 years of experience
- Experience in the Tech Industry is highly preferred
- English proficiency with bilingual preferred but not required.
- Prepare and deliver training in collaboration with Adei Institute of Technology Staff.

Description
Adei Institute of Technology is a development and innovation center for tech entrepreneurs and developers to learn, connect, grow and innovate. We are developing a pipeline of talent capable of taking advantage of the global digital economy and leveraging opportunities in their communities and beyond.
We offer a Technical Skills Training Program to develop top-notch talent through hands-on training, access to technical expertise and leading-edge technology, with a focus on youth and women; an Innovation Lab for developers to develop and launch software products; and an Entrepreneurship Program for founders to enrich their startups and facilitate their access to capital through business education. Our members benefit from a community that enables them to access a network of investors and entrepreneurs.
