A.I.R. Project is currently seeking youth and young adult participants who would love to be apart of our Junior Advisory Committee.

This volunteer opportunity will welcome interested persons to utilize and share their experience with fundraising and grant acquisition, to help expand our organizations fundraising and funding reach. The purpose of this opportunity is to not only help our organization with our financial goals, but to provide youth, young adults and seasoned adults the opportunity to work together and create a cohesive team that can build, learn and expand knowledge and ideas with the hopes of strengthening our community and building positive youth and adult relationships.

This opportunity is geared towards individuals who love to learn more about creative fundraising ideas, grant writing, securing donations (monetary and in-kind) who have the desire and/or have experience with raising funds and securing donations for charitable organizations. The goal is to have a combination of interest and experience in order to establish a productive team.

This opportunity is good for someone who is looking for a long term volunteer opportunity and who desires to see the success of their team work and efforts.

Youth ages 13 and older may volunteer for this position. College students are highly welcomed too! Seasoned and experienced volunteers are also welcomed.

Description

We are humanitarians helping and educating victims and at risk youth and young adults (ages 8-18) of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, bullying and other forms of abuse and violence.

We believe that society as a whole is affected rather directly or indirectly when someone is a victim of abuse or violence. We also believe that when we work together and create a joint effort between our victims and communities that we can have stronger homes, communities, and societies.
