The Green Walls Project - Virtual Weekly Writing Group

ORGANIZATION: BRITE: Building Resilience and Inclusion Through Engagement (formerly Straight Up)

  • 20 people are interested

We are starting a new weekly writing group called The Green Walls Project, and we would love for you to be a part of it! We will be meeting virtually every Thursday from 3-4pm PST. No previous writing experience is necessary, and this time will count towards your community service hours if you are needing any.

The Green Walls Project is a new way for teens and young adults to express whatever they’re feeling through their creativity, rather than through their pain. Being able to get our feelings out of our minds and onto something beautiful, like a story or a painting, is incredible. Each week will be an open session, so you can miss a session if you’re busy that week, and join in again the following week. There will be a different prompt every week, and we will be spending time writing and then sharing our pieces. If you live in Ventura County, we especially want to hear from you!
