The Larimer County Farmers Market kicked off its season on Saturday, May 23rd and so did Extension's Market Days for Older Adults to provide produce for low-income older adults. With Covid, and seniors encouraged to stay at home, they changed this year's program to delivering produce bags to drop off locations. They can provide about 60 bags a week to older neighbors throughout the county. Volunteers are needed to help with bagging and/or delivery. They could use help on any Saturday. It's a weekly effort that goes through October so pick a day(s) you want. Vols need to wear a mask but there is plenty of fresh air and hand sanitizer.

There are two shift options:
9 - 11 am: Pick up veggies from vendors and help bag them for delivery. Plus we are including our SAP magnets in all the bags!
11 - 1 pm: Deliver bags to designation. At this point, it's a drop off location like a park or parking lot at one of the senior communities. There's no delivery to front doors but there could be a rare occasion.

Come join a fun team!. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage.
