ORGANIZATION: DOROT, Inc

Are you interested in a rewarding opportunity to connect across generations and share some laughs with a diverse group of teen and other adults 65+? If so, Intergenerational Programming is the place for you!

During this time, people are especially hungry for opportunities to connect and build community. By joining us for intergenerational virtual programs, you can make a difference at a challenging time of isolation for people of all ages. You will make connections with a diverse group of high school students who are excited to get to know you, as well as your like minded peers.

We are currently seeking volunteers 65+ for 2022 remote programs which will begin the week of March 28. Our programs require a commitment to a weekly meeting that lasts from the end of March through May. Each workshop welcomes about ten teens and ten 65+ volunteers.

Choose from workshops including: art, story telling, chess, music, exploring bias, brain games and so much more!

Please note: All intergenerational programs are virtual. If you have any questions about our programs or how to register, please reach out to sharemywisdom@dorotusa.org.

All new participants will be invited to attend an orientation.
