We are looking for a committed and talented graphic designer to design the first logos for our new basketball teams for boys and girls.
The SoulGentz will serve boys ages 8 to 18 in New York City and New Jersey and the SoulDeevas will serve girls of the same ages. We will launch both programs on August 1st, so we will need the logo by that date.
The logo will be seen on our teams' uniforms, as well as our website and social media pages, our literature and other promotional items. We would list the designer on our website/social media pages and would also be happy with the designer using the finished product in his/her portfolio. We would also serve as a professional reference for the designer.
Other than the use of our colors (purple, gray, black and white), our only desire is that the logo be clean enough to display clearly on anything we put it on. Otherwise, we lean to the artists' creativity.
Interested candidates should contact us with samples of their work and with any questions that would help them better determine whether this opportunity is right for them.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
