EcoRing advocates for improved bicycle, pedestrian and rail infrastructure with various public agencies in Sonoma and Marin Counties in California. The goal is to improve trail and rail access to tourist areas so that travelers can leave their carbon dioxide generators (autos) at home when they travel. A large portion of the GHG emissions are produced by tourists in these two counties.
As Public Comment Writer/Editor you would be asked to write letters to City Councils, Boards of Supervisors, and other transit and transportation agencies representing EcoRing and advancing EcoRing's goals with the aid of the Executive Director. This would also involve reviewing proposed actions by public agencies and analyzing their transportation impacts.
