ORGANIZATION: POSTPARTUM WELLNESS FOUNDATION

Donor Outreach

  • Design and draft annual appeal letters.
  • Support processes and tracking for donor recognition and appreciation.
  • Initiates campaigns to increase amount and frequency of giving, and identifies and stewards individual donors to mid-level and higher levels of giving. To include but not limited to: establish and manage a reoccurring gift plan/annual campaign acquisition and establish and manage a lapsed donor engagement plan
  • Establish and implement recognition and "welcome journey" plans for first-time donors.
  • Maintain donor notes in donor management system.
  • Grants: Research and identify new grant opportunities. Collect supplemental grant information and documents. Proofread and edit grant submission drafts. Support in the management of grant writing volunteers. Support in the management of the grant submission calendar.

Communications

  • Create and maintain digital and print marketing materials and other forms of outreach. Including but not limited to Appeal Letters, Sponsorship and Vendor Solicitations.
  • Create innovative and inspiring donor communications and public messaging.
  • Works with relevant vendors for timely content submissions.
  • Prospect, leverage relationships and coordinate event sponsorships and vendor participation. Manage additional fundraising components (such as silent auction or raffles).

Preferred qualifications/training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. A background in fundraising, relationship management, marketing/communications, and/or non-profit.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and layout/design skills are essential.
  • High degree of problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior project, time and organizational management skills.
  • Flexibility with changes in task and priorities along with using sound judgment.
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Wide degree of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in social media and digital media.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and team player with a positive and professional approach to management.
  • Basic social media knowledge required, however, extensive social media management knowledge would be a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and moral standards.
  • Passion for Postpartum Wellness Foundation’s mission.

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), most commonly known as postpartum depression, through mental health counseling and psychiatry services for in-need individuals who otherwise cannot obtain such services, and the creation, development and sponsorship of distinctive programs, networking events and scholarship opportunities related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
