CAV's vision is a violence free community. Through the use of educational classes led by facilitators, we take perpetrators through an exploration of their beliefs and stereotypes that are harmful to their relationships.
CAV needs individuals interested in facilitating our classes. We provide all the necessary training and on-going support. The time commitment is for 3 hours a week for each class you facilitate.
CAV also needs help with social media and fundraising projects.

Description
Community Alternatives to Violence is a Batterer's Intervention Prevention Program. For over 20 years, we have worked with perpetrators of domestic violence, men and women who are referred by the courts or other agencies. We provide educational classes on empathy and respectful communication within all relationships.

- Driver's License Needed
- Must be at least 21
- Facilitators will put in 3 hours per week for each class you facilitate. We will train you.
- All other opportunities have flexible times and hours, with a minimum three hour shifts preferred. Must be available to work during our office hours 9-5 Weekdays. Some evening or weekend special events are possible.
