We have various volunteer opportunities here at the YWCA.
Front Desk receptionist:
The receptionist is the first person people come in contact with when they are calling or visiting the YWCA. This position is vital to the daily operations of the organization and requires someone with a professional and calm demeanor. Duties include screening domestic violence and crisis line calls, monitoring security cameras, processing donations, and general office tasks.
Donation Upkeep:
Community members generously donate items to the YWCA on a regular basis. Diligent volunteers are needed to sort, organize, and store items in the appropriate location. Assistance with maintaining the donation storage areas- including periodic cleaning and decluttering- is always appreciated.

The YWCA Southern Colorado offers critical domestic violence services and empowers over 4,000 individuals annually in Pueblo through securing shelter, promoting self sufficiency, and providing education and counseling.
At Teresa's Place we provide a safe, secure, and culturally accessible site for parents with court orders to visit or exchange their children when domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, or stalking has occurred
