ORGANIZATION: AMERICAN AVIATION HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Image_202002141958

The American Aviation Historical Society, one of the oldest continuously functioning aviation historical societies in the United States, is looking to separate our current leadership role into TWO positions; narrowing the job scope of our President role to just the oversight and leadership of the organization activities, while allowing the other job functions currently managed by the President - outreach, managing organized events and social media tasks, to be handled by a different person.

AAHS is a small but well funded organization with a small core of dedicated volunteers who manage daily tasks in the Huntington Beach office. We have members all over the United States, and the world, and our new leader will get to continue many exciting new projects we've introduced to keep us viable in this all-digital world. The AAHS President normally is present at the office just once a week, and hosts Board of Director meetings once a quarter, and office staff meetings as needed.

We look to find someone passionate about Americas' aviation history, who understands the precious resource of ACCURATE history, and the necessity of its preservation for all to use.
