Color of Law Center is a Civil Rights Nonprofit civil rights.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of disability rights laws, including the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing Act, Employment Rights, and Civil Rights Act;
- Litigate in federal court including appellate courts throughout the country;
- Challenging the conditions that force racial and economic segregation and that limit options for safe, decent, and affordable housing based on race and national origin;
- Reducing barriers to public services and public accommodations;
- Advocating on behalf of pro se and reducing the impact of an unfair civil justice system.
- J.D. degree, bar admission in one state;
- 1 year of litigation experience. *may include clinic work in law school;
- Conduct legal research and writing legal memoranda, briefs;
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide-range of civil rights organizations with diverse agendas
- Ability to recognize the common factors across civil rights issues, and to creatively link advocacy strategies;
- A demonstrated commitment to public interest law, constitutional law and/or civil rights;
- Ability to engage in complex legal analysis and fact investigation in impact litigation policy, and legislative advocacy settings, sometimes under tight deadlines;
- Superior analytic skills and excellent research skills;
- Demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly and persuasively;
- Self-motivated, diligent, and able to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently, as well as with self-represented litigants;
- Must have a computer and experience using zoom.
- Knowledge of laws, rights, and services as they pertain to people with disabilities; and/or direct representation of people with disabilities.

Description
The Color of Law Center and the voice to voiceless art series campaign gives a voice to vulnerable Americans who rights are exploited due to their disability status and economic status. Judge Ehrlich abuse of a disabled woman on April 15, 2018, who died due to this Judge abuse is NOT the exception but the w ay of life for disabled Americans. The Color of Law Center goal is to stop judicial abuse through arts- art has a unique power to bring people together and to promote change.
