Hand crafted Prayer or Lap Blankets for Gentiva Hospice Patients

Do you have a giving heart and creative hands? If so, we are in need of those who are willing to make and donate prayer or lap blankets for our patient's. These blankets can provide a sense of comfort to those who are facing end of life, and are often kept by family members as a remembrance of their loved one. Blankets are usually placed across the patient's lap when sitting or the lower legs and feet.
Donated blankets should be new, free of smoke, pet hairs, perfumes and any other scents. Blankets can be quilted, knitted or crocheted.
There is NO application or background check required. Church groups, civic groups, social groups, individuals, etc. are welcome to participate.
