Nothing brings comfort and joy like that of a sweet pet! Heart to Heart Hospice is seeking certified pet therapists to visit our patients and bring them comfort and joy.

Can also assist with pet therapy for the bereaved of our patients who have gained their angel wings. Especially at our grief support group and annual memorial service.


This opportunity could be located at various locations in Porter or Lake County, Indiana. We are looking for individuals who are interested in this opportunity that can volunteer in one or both of theses counties.

Description

Join our volunteer program and make a difference in someone's life!!! We have training programs established to ensure that every volunteer has the necessary support and knowledge to help our patients and families. Tasks may include but not limited to: Provide companionship, Read books or news, Celebrate holidays, Help with light housekeeping, Make phone calls or write letters, Provide emotional/spiritual support, Sit with patients to relive caregivers, Help with bereavement, Administrative work in the office, or Utilizing a volunteers specific talents!!!
