Dinosaur Ridge is looking for junior counselors ages 14-18 to help with our small group summer day camps! Junior counselors are volunteers who gain valuable experience in what it takes to create a fun, educational environment for campers. Gain new leadership skills, earn volunteer credit in support of your school or college application goals, and enjoy a summer outdoors at the site of our National Natural Landmark.
Able to work and walk around outside in a variety of weather conditions
Available to Monday - Friday for a two- week block from May 24 - Aug 13
Team-oriented and consistently demonstrates positive values in work habits
Admired, but not required Qualities:
Experience working with children
Passion for the mission of Dinosaur Ridge, interest in paleontology, geology, and/or science
CPR and First Aid certification

The mission of Dinosaur Ridge is to preserve the paleontologic, geologic, and historic resources on Dinosaur Ridge, Triceratops Trail, and outlier sites in the Golden-Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark and to educate the public about these resources.
Dinosaur Ridge is a non-profit outdoor museum with over 300 dinosaur footprints and dozens of dinosaur bones still in place from the Mesozoic, the Age of the Dinosaurs.
